The New Avengers were accidentally created by Electro and the Skrulls

Will Marvel Studios use this story in the MCU?
A Secret Invasion Disney Plus series is scheduled for 2023. As of now, little is known about the series, but fans can assume it will resemble the Marvel Comics series. With Emilia Clarke being part of the series, she is rumored to be playing the Skrull Queen Veranke. Her popularity from Game of Thrones and lack of character name on IMDb means she’s likely playing someone important.
A major event will happen at some point to bring Earth’s Mightiest Heroes together again. What that event is and whether or not it will be related to the skrulls remains to be seen. Although, it would make sense for Secret Invasion to bring a new Avengers team together even if their project isn’t among the plans yet.
There’s a lot going on in Marvel Studios’ future. The Thunderbolts, Captain America: New World Order, and the Fantastic Four are only three of the exciting projects coming in Phase 5 and 6. That’s not including a couple of mutant related moments from Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Who knows what’s going to happen between now and Secret Invasion. For all we know, the premiere superhero team could be the Ultimates. Nevertheless, this writer believes that the Skrulls will have a major hand in the creation of the Avengers or the next big superhero team.
