The build-up toward Spider-Man: No Way Home’s release was both memorable and insane. Multiple rumors and leaks indicated that Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men were going to appear in the movie. Nevertheless, no one really knew what exactly to expect. After all, a live-action project that brought together three different versions of the wall crawler seemed too good to be true. But the release date finally came, and we were all treated to a great multiversal adventure.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is fun, action-packed, and extremely emotional. However, one of its biggest strengths is Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. The British actor found incredible success when portraying the character for the third time. Not only he was funny and full of energy, but he also managed to prevent Tom Holland’s Peter Parker from suffering a terrible fate.

The moment he saved Zendaya’s M.J., everyone in the movie theater couldn’t help but cheer. Even his biggest detractors can say they found his latest appearance as the wall crawler to be enjoyable. Finally, he was given the love and recognition he always deserved.

Surprisingly, we also got to hear what happened to Andrew Garfield’s Peter after the events of his second film. It seems as if his character went through a little bit of an arc offscreen. His Spider-Man originally let anger consume him after Gwen Stacy’s death. He stopped pulling his punches when facing bad guys and lost his way when trying to save the city. However, by the time Tom Holland’s Peter Parker gets to know him, he’s grown into a hero again. Maybe there will be a time when we get to see a little bit more of that arc. Until then, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be remembered as the best Andrew Garfield Marvel movie.
