10. Dumbo

Directed by Tim Burton, Disney’s Dumbo live-action remake follows the adventures of a young elephant with oversized ears who learns to fly. One of the highlights of the film is the stunning visual effects that bring Dumbo to life as the animators created a realistic and expressive character that tugs at the heartstrings and brings a sense of wonder and magic to the story.

The film’s cast is also impressive, with standout performances from Colin Farrell, who plays a former circus star struggling to adjust to life after World War I, and Danny DeVito, who plays the ringmaster of the struggling circus. Then there is Eva Green who delivers a captivating performance as a trapeze artist who befriends Dumbo and helps him find his place in the world. Together, they create a touching and heartfelt story that is both entertaining and emotional.

While Dumbo at its heart is an emotional and heartbreaking tale, the live-action reboot adds a bit more levity to the tone of the movie while still somehow remaining true to the origin story. However, where it shines is its ability to adapt the storyline with some unexpected twists and developments that help elevate the story for this new generation.
