10. Black Cat

She’s a thief who can also be an ally. An expert in hand-to-hand combat who’s capable of infiltrating any place.  She can be a genuine problem for our hero or a love interest for him as well… and no, we’re not talking about Catwoman.

Black Cat is an iconic character who’s different from other Spider-Man villains. While she may not be out to kill the Spider (like many people on this list), she can definitely cause him a lot of problems and moral conflicts. After all, how does Peter know if he can trust her? Granted, she has helped him on many occasions, but more often than not, she has also stabbed the wall-crawler in the back when given the opportunity. Her unpredictability is what makes her such an interesting character and love interest. Her relationship with Spider-Man is pretty complicated, and we’re all in for it.

Unlike many supervillains, Felicia Hardy was originally a normal person who had no superpowers whatsoever. Sure, that changed throughout the years, and there was even a time when she could literally give people bad luck (something that messed up her relationship with Peter). However, she’s usually portrayed as someone with excellent acrobatic skills, a taste for stealing things, and no superpowers in sight, making her more of an impressive villain. The fact that she has managed to be a problem for Spider-Man and many others without abilities such as manipulating electricity indicates how great her character is.

Felicia Hardy is so popular among Spider-Man fans that she had a cameo appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. At one point, Sony even wanted to make a Black Cat & Silver Sable movie before it was ultimately scrapped. However, that hasn’t stopped her from appearing in many video games, cartoons, and comics. Besides, it’s just a matter of time before she makes her proper live-action debut, and we can’t wait for that to happen.
