40. Tigger

"“Only Tiggers don’t climb trees, they bounce ’em!”  -Tigger"

Tigger is among the most annoying characters in Disney. He bounces on everyone and everything, doesn’t understand basic social cues, and never stops talking. Nevertheless, as frustrating as he may be to his friends, fans are drawn to him because he’s entertaining.

Tigger has been a pop culture favorite for years. He’s on a ton of clothing and his stuffed animals never go out of style. The song, “The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers” also helped that. It reminded people that he’s a lovable, one-of-one character.

Even if nothing new comes from Tigger, he’ll remain one of the most recognized figures ever.

39. Winnie the Pooh

"“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” -Winnie the Pooh"

Winnie the Pooh didn’t start as a Disney character. The company took ownership of it back in the early 1960s. The naive, caring, and honey-loving bear isn’t as popular as he once was. A lot of that is due to the plethora of new characters coming out. Nevertheless, Winnie the Pooh ruled for decades, and his popularity helped birth popular characters like Eeyore and Tigger. That’s reason enough for him to crack the top 40.
