9 incredible Daredevil: Born Again season 2 moments that made the finale flawless

Season 2 episode 8 of Daredevil: Born Again had a bunch of moments that made this a flawless finale. Here are the nine that made this unforgettable (in order of when they happened).

Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is over. The battles have been fought, and viewers have learned a valuable lesson about being a fan of the Man Without Fear. Even when Matt Murdock (or Daredevil) wins, he still somehow loses. But that makes him a great character and Daredevil: Born Again a must-watch show.

Coming up are the best moments from Daredevil: Born Again and what made them worth talking about. Some of the scenes highlighted the greatness of the characters. Others are going to lead into the next season. Let's begin with something that covers both.

1. “I’m Daredevil.”

This was the moment Marvel Comics’ fans were waiting for. Everything that happened in this season was heading to a scene where Matt is in court and tells the world he’s Daredevil. This had to be done perfectly, or it would fall flat. Thankfully, this was well acted by Charlie Cox, and having him throw his walking stick to prove it flawlessly sold the moment.

Sadly, this came at a price. Matt ends up being sent to prison for assault, attempted murder, and (according to the police) a laundry list of other crimes. This is likely going to come up again in Spider-Man: Brand New Day when Spidey has to fight the Hand.

2. Wrong Bullseye

Everybody in this show rocked, but Poindexter (Bullseye) may have been the MVP. This was further proven by the way he kills a bunch of Anti-Vigilante Task Force goons who were setting up to kill Matt. What really made this scene great was Powell ordering the hit and Poindexter saying, “Wrong Bullseye.”

It seemed like Bullseye was going to turn over a new leaf, but I should have known better. No matter the universe, Bullseye is a killer. Luckily for him, Mr. Charles saw the potential in Poindexter. In fact, Mr. Charles was probably the one who sent Bullseye to take out the AVTF and ordered him to kill Fisk.

3. Wilson Fisk’s speech

Vincent D'Onofrio was the perfect Wilson Fisk, but his final speech to the public was the icing on the cake. He delivered a message to New Yorkers that riled everyone up on both sides of the vigilante debate, and that’s exactly what he wanted. The funny thing is, in doing so, the violence and chaos he caused led to him getting offered the deal that prevents him from getting charged with multiple crimes.

4. Cole North takes a stand

In Marvel Comics, Cole North is an honorable man. He was against Daredevil being a vigilante, but he went after him as a man of the law. As a fan of his, it was sad watching him be part of the AVTF. Thankfully, he finally took a stand, and it was against Powell.

At the end of the episode, Cole is in prison in a line with Powell and other inmates who were likely members of the AVTF. Now that Cole is on the right side of things, I wonder if there’s more coming since he played a major part in Chip Zdarsky’s last run of Daredevil. If things move as they did, then we’ll see more of Cole North in season 3. Maybe even in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, if he is, it will probably be in a small role.

5. B.B. shows her face

B.B. Urich was impersonating Wilson Fisk while also telling everyone watching about the crimes he and AVTF were committing. She wore a Wilson Fisk mask and an oversized white suit and impersonated his voice. But when it came time to stand up and be counted, she boldly did just that. Her uncle (Ben Urich) is somewhere smiling at the bravery of his niece.

6. “BOO!”

There’s a phrase that goes, “If you come at the king, you better not miss,” and the violent protesters learned that lesson the hard way. They screamed, “KILL FISK,” until they got their chance. That's when they realized seeing the monster on TV and in person are two different things. This became a reminder that Wilson is not to be messed with. He’s violent, terrifying, and uncannily strong.

7. White Tiger

Angela Del Toro showed flashes of what she could do with the power of the amulet. She jumped into the scene and looked like a natural hero. She had some missteps during the fight, but it’s easy to see that she has potential. The question now is what’s next for Camila Rodriguez as Angela Del Toro.

8. Muse Reborn

It was clear that Dr. Heather Glenn hadn’t dealt with the trauma of what happened with her and  Muse in season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again. What people may not have expected was for her to put on the Muse mask, look at herself in the mirror, and see her face without it. This was a callback to a moment in the courtroom when she mentions that a vigilante’s real life is the mask, while their other persona is their true self.

Either this is who Dr. Glenn has always been, or she still has things to process. It was previously revealed that she would be the new Muse in season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again, but her fate is still up in the air.

9. Power Couple

Finally, we come to my favorite moment, Mike Colter returning as Luke Cage. It wasn’t just him coming back to Marvel. When his daughter, Danielle, hugged him, I melted. Then Jessica Jones embraced him and was happy that he was done with his work with Mr. Charles. Then she closes the door and reveals that they’re at her detective agency, Alias Investigations.

In short, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daniel will return.
