If you thought Marvel Studios would make fans wait for more of Matt Murdock as The Man Without Fear, you were wrong. After resting and letting things cool down after his rescue of Angela Del Toro, he went back to Muse’s subterranean hideout to find clues on where he would strike next. He learns that Muse’s next victim is Matt’s girlfriend and therapist, Dr. Heather Glenn. We also find out that Muse (real name: Bastian Cooper) is a patient of Heather's. Luckily, Daredevil shows up before she can become another mural.

During the fight, Heather shoots Muse and kills him. Before she can bleed out from her attempted killer's cut, Daredevil tends to her wounds, and the police get her to the hospital. Wilson Fisk arrives on the scene soon after to get a report of the situation from Cole North, who says DD was on the scene. Fisk tells Cole that he wasn’t and that the Anti-Vigilante Task Force were the ones who saved the day. North took the hint and left the crime scene.

While Wilson made a speech during a press conference, Vanessa Fisk seemingly gave Luca the okay to kill her husband and even provided an address and that he will be alone. Too bad Wilson is aware of everything and was prepared for this. Before Luca could get a shot off, Fisk’s employee, Buck, killed him. Wilson then told Buck to get a message to Vanessa asking if he wants her to bring something home. Was this his way of letting his wife know that he was alive and her assassination attempt had failed or is he simply going back to normal as if nothing had just happened?

Another important moment in this episode came when Daniel Blake had a talk with BB Urich about her reporting that Daredevil was at the scene of Muse’s murder. He’s still not over her getting him in trouble by telling information that he thought she’d withhold. So Blake gave her an ultimatum: BB has to be more favorable to him and Mayor Fisk and have a nice life, or don’t and have a bad one.

It's not shocking that Blake is vile since he knows what Fisk is up to and has no issue with it. However, you’d assume his friends would be immune to his deplorable behavior. It won’t be shocking when BB refuses to do anything he asked. She’s a reporter with morals and the niece of the legendary Ben Urich.

What to expect in Daredevil: Born Again episode 8

Someone important is likely going to find out that Matt Murdock is Dardevil in the near-future. Kirsten McDuffie is starting to get annoyed with Matt not being in the office (and the fact that Cherry keeps covering for him). Eventually, she’s going to find out who he is on her own, or one of them will tell her.

Heather is another option, too. While Daredevil is saving her, Matt says her name. When they’re in the hospital together, she mentions this. Heather is an observant therapist who will likely piece together that Matt’s weird behavior and bruises coincide with the return of The Man Without Fear.

Cole North didn’t seem happy that he had to lie about DD being at the scene of Muse’s death. He went along with it because he was ordered to but how long until he’s tired of taking orders and decides that the Anti-Vigilante Task Force are the bad guys in this situation?

Lastly, Vanessa's life may be on the line. Wilson Fisk is loving to a point, but if she just tried to kill him, that might be a line that can't be uncrossed in his mind. He isn’t going to go to therapy and let this slide. He may act like everything is okay, but he will eventually lose his cool because of something she says or does, and that will be that.
