Once upon a time, superhero fans were doubtful that Daredevil: Born Again would reach the heights set by its Netflix predecessor (this writer included). However, season 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe show has been rapidly building momentum, crafting an intricate narrative filled with shocking twists, unexpected turns, and fast-paced action sequences that, quite literally, pull no punches. Now, more than ever, we can say that the Man Without Fear is born again.
With every new episode being better than the last, fans are eager to see what surprises await in the weeks to come. After all, things are only bound to get more violent and chaotic with the return of fan-favorites such as Jessica Jones and Brett Mahoney. Furthermore, we can't wait to see how the Mayor Fisk storyline comes to its inevitable conclusion, and whether more Defenders show up to the party before the season's big finale. But before we get too ahead of ourselves, it's time to look at what next week's release schedule looks like.
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 episode 6 is nearly here
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 episode 6, will arrive on Disney Plus on Tuesday, April 21, at 9 pm ET, 6 pm PT, 7 pm MT, and 8 pm CT. The episode, titled "Requiem", will have a reported runtime of 49 minutes, which would make it only two minutes shorter than the longest episodes of the season, which clock in at 51 minutes.
There's clearly been a shift in momentum since the third episode of the ongoing Disney Plus series. While the first two episodes weren't really slow-paced, audiences haven't been able to catch a breather in the last few episodes. So now that the big finale is closer and closer, things are bound to get even more violently awesome.

While we have yet to watch the entirety of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, Marvel is already hard at work filming season 3, which is slated to be released next year. Set pictures have already given us a glimpse at the long-awaited Defenders reunion, sparking speculation that either Danny Rand or Luke Cage could return even sooner than anticipated. Furthermore, actor Mike Colter mistakenly revealed a big spoiler that we won't discuss here, but that indicates the upcoming episodes of Season 2 will be relentless for Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk.
Thanks to official trailers and clips of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, we know there's bound to be a fight between the Devil of Hell's Kitchen and The Kingpin of Crime, just like in the good old times. Furthermore, fans are eager to see if there are more connections to the wider MCU, such as a Spider-Man mention or more involvement from Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.
Only three episodes of Daredevil: Born Again season 2 remain, each releasing a week apart from each other. Once they finish airing, fans will be in for a treat thanks to The Punisher: One Last Kill special presentation, which will be released on May 12. Just two weeks later, we'll dive into yet another grim iteration of New York with the premiere of Spider-Noir on May 27, 2026. And if that wasn't enough, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is getting closer and closer as well.
The following weeks will be huge for the street-level MCU heroes, and we can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
