Back in 2015, Marvel made history by releasing one of the best superhero projects ever made in the form of Netflix's Daredevil. Throughout three fantastic seasons, audiences witnessed how Matt Murdock faced the horrors hidden in every corner of Hell's Kitchen along with the help of his ever-trusting friends, Foggy Nelson and Karen Page. It was a dark, violent, bold, and thrilling journey — but one that came to an end sooner than anyone could've expected.
For more than six years, we couldn't do anything but watch as the Marvel Cinematic Universe shined the spotlight over many other heroes while leaving The Man Without Fear behind. Fortunately, he's finally back, and he's here to stay.
Daredevil: Born Again marked a triumphant return of form for the beloved hero and his supporting cast of characters. Matt and Wilson Fisk are able to go face-to-face again on the small screen and they haven't missed a single beat since the last time we saw them. But while some rivalries never get old, we need to address the fact that almost ten years have passed since the premiere of the original show. So now is the perfect time to catch up with the actors behind these characters were back in 2015, and what age they are now that they have been "born again" in the MCU.

Charlie Cox as Darerdevil
Born: December 15, 1982
Age when Daredevil came out: 32
Age today: 42
Throughout the years, we've seen many perfect superhero castings. Robert Downey Jr was the ideal actor to bring Tony Stark to life, Hugh Jackman can't be surpassed when it comes to his interpretation of Wolverine, and Willem Dafoe was so amazing as the Green Goblin that he made an epic MCU comeback almost 20 years after first portraying the role. Well, Charlie Cox should be included in that conversation too because he was simply born to play Matt Murdock.
He does such a fantastic job that sometimes it's easy to forget he isn't really blind. Besides, Charlie is able to portray Daredevil's facets with surprising ease. In some episodes (such as when Foggy discovers his secret identity) he shows a much more vulnerable side of the character. However, he can also be ruthless, charming, and even a little bit sassy. To top things off, Charlie is able to do his own stunts on some occasions (like that iconic one-shot fight in the first season of Netflix's Daredevil), proving that his dedication to the role is simply unmatched.
Throughout the years, we've had the pleasure of watching Daredevil go against the many criminals in New York City. Hopefully, it isn't long before we see him team up with other MCU heroes either in an Avengers crossover or perhaps even a Spider-Man movie. That way, audiences will have really seen his character do everything across both the big and small screen.

Vincent D'Onofrio as The Kingpin
Born: June 30, 1959
Age when Daredevil came out: 55
Age today: 65
While it's common for Marvel projects to create three-dimensional heroes that instantly connect with audiences, the same cannot be said for its villains. Most of the time, audiences are presented with a flat, one-and-done antagonist that lacks any sort of depth. Fortunately, there have been a few exceptions across the years, and Wilson Fisk is perhaps the biggest one of them.
Watching Vincent D'Onofrio portray the role of Wilson Fisk is a bit contradicting. Sometimes, all you see is a stressed and vulnerable man who wasn't able to escape the ghosts of his past. On other occasions, however, there's nothing but a monster capable of doing absolutely anything to get what he wants. It's this amazing range that makes The Kingpin one of the best Marvel villains ever seen in a live-action project. While he currently claims to have left his "corrupt" life behind in favor of becoming a good Mayor for his city, we can't help but feel that's not the case and he's simply waiting for the perfect moment to strike again. So it will be interesting how his arcs develop as we get closer to the finle of Daredevil: Born Again.

Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page
Born: February 7, 1985
Age when Daredevil came out: 30
Age today: 40
She's an amazing reporter who doesn't know when to quit, an unconditional ally to Daredevil who won't let him face anything alone, and the woman who shot James Wesley point-blank seven times in less than 10 seconds. Karen Page is always willing to do what's right for the city and everyone living in it — and she doesn't care who she has to go against to accomplish such a goal. However, that wasn't always the case as she was much more reckless in her youth. Unfortunately, that eventually led to the death of her brother, Kevin, and her being outcasted from her own home. From that day onwards, Karen's life dramatically changed.
Deborah Ann Woll does such an amazing job at portraying Karen Page that you can even physically see her shake whenever a tragedy takes place either in the original series or in the MCU revival. Furthermore, her character has been such an integral character in Matt's story that fans petitioned for her to make a comeback once it was revealed that an early version of Daredevil: Born Again didn't include her or Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson. Fortunately, the keen reporter is back in town, and it's just a matter of time to see what else Disney has in store for her.

Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson
Born: August 30, 1977
Age when Daredevil came out: 37
Age today: 47
Being a superhero must be a daunting task. Daredevil senses so much tragedy on a day-to-day basis that sometimes it's easy to lose track of what's important and even be tempted to give in to the violence. On days like those, it's absolutely necessary to have a close friend to remind you that revenge isn't really justice and that the law shouldn't be above anyone's head. Fortunately, Foggy Nelson is exactly that person, and we all love him for that.
Foggy is not only an unbreakable moral compass but also someone who'd do anything for his close friends. Elden Henson brings such charm and positivism to the character that it was impossible to imagine a world where he was not next to Matt Murdock fighting for a greater cause. Unfortunately, tragedy struck during the first season of Daredevil: Born Again as Foggy was shot by a ruthless villain. But is this really the end of his story? Well, a hidden Easter Egg might indicate otherwise, and it's been already confirmed that Elden Henson will be back in season 2 of the latest Disney Plus hit series. Could Marvel be attempting to pull a big fakeout? Fingers crossed that ends up being the case!

Jon Bernthal as The Punisher
Born: September 20, 1976
Age when Daredevil Season 2 came out: 39
Age today: 48
If you see The Punisher enter the same room as you, then it's clear you won't be making it out alive. Frank Castle is a ruthless vigilante marked by the death of his family and a killing machine who doesn't believe in second chances. That has put him in direct odds with Daredevil in the past — but when the two have decided to team up, audiences have been in for an amazing (and very violent) ride. Such a relentless character could've only been portrayed by a handful of people, and Jon Bernthal was definitely one of them.
After being the star of his own Netflix series, The Punisher is finally making his MCU debut in Daredevil: Born Again. But while we're all excited to see how he'll react to corrupt cops using his logo when committing crimes, we also need to look even further. A special Disney Plus presentation featuring Frank Castle will be released in 2026, and Jon Bernthal will co-write the script with director Reinaldo Marcus Green. It appears audiences are in for a very graphic ride that will establish The Punisher as an even character going forward, and we can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna-Fisk
Born: June 28, 1969
Age when Daredevil came out: 45
Age today: 55
Ayelet Zurer captivated The Kingpin of Crime and audiences alike when portraying the role of Vanessa Marianna. Out of every character in the list, Vanessa has had one of the most interesting developments throughout both Daredevil series. She was once an "ordinary" art seller who fell in love with a corrupt man — an act that eventually led her to take charge and give orders to all the renowned criminal families in the city on her own. Talk about going from 0 to 100 real quick.
When her husband disappeared, Vanessa took over the business and made it grow into the untouchable empire that it is today. Her list of crimes is only surpassed by the Kingpin himself, but oddly enough, Matt Murdock won't try to prosecute her. That's because he agreed not to try and put her behind bars as long as Karen and Foggy were never attacked by Wilson Fisk. The two archenemies have maintained their word so far, but we can't help but feel it's just a matter of time before everything goes sideways.
Ayelet Zurer almost didn't return as Vanessa in Daredevil: Born Again due to a questionable decision to recast the character in the original incarnation of the series. Thankfully, Marvel made things right when it decided to give Born Again a creative overhaul and pulled a reverse-recasting, bringing Zurer back to the role.

Wilson Bethel as Bullseye
Born: February 24, 1984
Age when Daredevil Season 3 came out: 34
Age today: 41
Matt Murdock has faced no shortage of terrifying villains across his superhero career. However, few have been as cruel and relentless as Benjamin Poindexter. As a child, he had no parents to help him tell the wrong from the right. Furthermore, he killed his baseball instructor for making him sit on the bench while someone else acted as the team's pitcher. To top things off, Dex would torture defenseless animals whenever he had the chance to do so. He was so desperate to find a paternal figure to guide him that he ended up being manipulated by the Kingpin of Crime. Now, the former FBI agent makes use of his special set of abilities to terrorize Hell's Kitchen and everyone living in it.
While it would be hard to picture Wilson Bethel as anyone but Bullseye, the actor has confirmed he was on the shortlist to portray Captain America. Thankfully, both he and Chris Evans eventually found their right place within the MCU, with the former being a murderous villain whose story is far from over. While Bullseye is supposedly behind bars now, we can't help but feel like he'll return once again to torment Matt Murdock and perhaps even get his revenge on the Kingpin of Crime.
