Hayden Christensen shared a memorable fan encounter story with fans at Los Angeles Comic Con on October 30. The Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader actor revealed that a burglar once entered his house, but Christensen assumed it was a friend horsing around and trying to prank him. The actor heard someone go upstairs but decided to sit down and finish attending a call from another friend. Later, when the Lord of the Sith himself went to check on his 'friend,' he turned out to be a stranger trying to run away with a bunch of his belongings.

He wasn't expecting a robber, and when he saw the man, Christensen wondered if he was a delivery guy who had ended up at the wrong house. Even though it took Christensen forever to figure out that he was being robbed, the robber recognized him right away and began apologizing profusely. The man even gave Hayden his things back one by one and explained his situation. The man was struggling to buy a ticket home and didn't have any decent clothes to wear to a job interview. Hayden told the guy to come back the next day so he could drive him to the train station himself. Although the man didn't come back again, Christensen took him upstairs and gave him clothes and shoes.

The cool Canadian actor let the robber slash a fan off with a warning. He said, “Please don’t try to burglarize my house again,” because “I’ve got great security cameras.” It's incredible how compassionate Christensen was towards the man. He showed Jedi Knight compassion and empathy when he gave the man clothes and shoes instead of calling the cops on him. This single act of kindness may have changed the trajectory of the man's life.

During his panel, the actor also revealed that his daughter knows he plays Anakin and Darth Vader but hasn't seen his work in its entirety yet. She isn't comfortable with seeing him as Vader because "she thinks of Darth Vader as being this evil character, and she doesn’t want to see her dad as an evil character. " Hayden shared several interesting stories about George Lucas, his other films, including Jumper, and what convinced him to do Obi-Wan Kenobi.

More tidbits shared by Christensen at L.A. Comic Con can be found at The Nerd Wire. Christensen will be back as Anakin Skywalker with Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano in Ahsoka Season 2, which premieres on January 20, 2027, on Disney+.
