Amazon's Prime Video streaming service has announced that the beloved superhero series will return for its fifth and final season on April 8, 2026. It will kick off with a two-episode premiere before then releasing one new installment a week until its finale in May.
The season 5 premiere has been a long time coming. The show was officially renewed for a fifth and final season back in May 2023, just ahead of the launch of its fourth season. That eight-episode offering completed its run in July, meaning that, by the time season 5 premieres, it will have been nearly two whole years without new episodes. That's the streaming era for you!
Needless to say, fans are excited for what's to come. The Boys is one of the biggest TV shows in the world at the moment - and it has been that way since its premiere back in 2019. With its big-budget and recognizable stars, it continues to make its presence felt on viewers with each and every season.
