In the previous episode of IT: Welcome to Derry, the kids took the initiative to prove that Ronnie’s father was innocent. This ultimately led them to a cemetery, as they hoped that they could take a picture of whatever evil thing murdered their friends. They got the pictures they needed, escaped, and even got them developed. The next step was getting the proof to the police. Sadly, the images didn’t prove anything. Now, it's back to the drawing board.

Later, Pennywise went after Marge. It was unexpected and among the grossest things I’ve ever seen on television. But that's only part of the story; the twist that he made Lilly attack Marge means he has a hold on Lilly, and her friends may be next.

The retelling of the story of Pennywise, or as the indigenous people called it, the Galloo, was the coolest part of the series so far. While brief, it was an in-depth tale of how Pennywise fell from space and became powerful. It was so good, I wouldn’t be shocked if a spinoff series about how the indigenous people protected themselves and fought the Galloo was coming. There are certainly more stories to be told since this happened centuries ago.

What to expect in IT: Welcome to Derry episode 5

According to the trailer above, it looks like the military is going after Pennywise in the upcoming fifth episode of IT: Welcome to Derry. As many of you have seen in plenty of horror flicks, their weapons will be useless. Pennywise is a supernatural force that can’t be destroyed or hurt with guns and bombs. That means we’ll see a lot of characters getting slaughtered before someone orders them to retreat.

Second, it looks like Marge is joining Ronnie, Lilly, Rich, and Will. It isn’t shocking since Marge witnessed first-hand what Pennywise can do. So, like always, it seems like the kids are the key to stopping the Galloo. That said, let’s see if the indigenous people of Derry get involved. They have a stake in keeping Pennywise contained. While they won't help the military, they'll certainly assist the kids.
