Miles Gutierrez-Riley: What you need to know about Billy's boyfriend Eddie in Agatha All Along

Agatha All Along is shaping up to be one of the best new shows of the year. The Marvel Studios series made its presence felt on Disney Plus in September and it has very quickly gripped fans around the world, furthering the story of WandaVision and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in general.

Its fifth episode single-handedly broke the internet with the reveal revolving around Joe Locke's character that we had all been waiting for and yet didn't expect so soon. It was a reveal that expanded beyond the realm of the MCU fandom, with outlets all over the world reporting on the jaw-dropping reveal about Teen's true identity. And that true identity is none other than Billy Maximoff, the son of the Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff).

The sixth episode of Agatha All Along revealed the origins of Billy and it also introduced us to the character of Eddie, played by Miles Gutierrez-Riley. Naturally, fans have sat up and paid attention to the character, so here's what you need to know about Miles and Eddie.

Meet Miles Gutierrez-Riley, who plays Eddie in Agatha All Along

Miles Gutierrez-Riley is from Long Beach, California and he is 26 years old. His birthday is September 18, 1998, and he is a Virgo. He's a young actor whose career is just getting started but he already has quite a number of roles to his name.

Prior to Agatha All Along, his most high-profile role was undoubtedly that of Ivan Taylor in The Wilds, in which he appeared in eight episodes. However, he has also appeared in On The Come Up, The Moon and Back, and I Wish You All The Best.

He's also starring in Smile 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2022 breakout horror movie Smile. In it, he plays the role of Joshua, the assistant of protagonist Skye.

In Agatha All Along, he plays Eddie, the affectionate boyfriend of Billy Maximoff. Eddie thinks that he is dating William Kaplan, but Billy reveals to him that he doesn't remember his life before the Eastview car accident and that results in the two taking part in an investigation that eventually leads him to realize who he is.

Eddie was first referenced in the second episode of the series when Billy (who was then simply referred to as "Teen") picked up his phone as it was ringing. There was a picture of Eddie on the screen with the nickname "Boyf" above it, as Billy revealed to Agatha that "he worries".

Fans began to speculate that Eddie would end up becoming the MCU's version of Hulkling due to his romantic relationship with Joe Locke's Billy. In the comics, Billy, a.k.a. Wiccan, falls in love with Hulkling and the two fight side-by-side on the Young Avengers. But that doesn't seem to be the case here, as some insiders have suggested that Eddie isn't actually Hulkling and that Marvel will be casting that particular character in the run-up to its rumored Young Avengers movie.

Whether or not Eddie has a comic book destiny, there is no denying that he is a fun part of Agatha All Along. Miles Gutierrez-Riley has great energy, and Eddie's dynamic with Billy is great. Here's hoping we see plenty more of the two on-screen together.
