We're just two episodes into the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Camp Half-Blood is already under attack. In fact, it took just a few moments into the season premiere for it to happen, as monsters attempted to take down the magical border that protected it from the outside world. Of course, Luke managed to succeed in weakening the wall, making it only a matter of time until it comes down.

Yes, Percy Jackson season 2 is off to a compelling start, making it instantly worth the near two-year wait fans had for the sophomore installment of the Disney Plus show. This year is all about one thing for Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson, though: Rescuing Grover from the Sea of Monsters.

If you're ready to find out what the next installment has in store, here's when you can anticipate episode 3 in your area.

What to expect in Percy Jackson season 2 episode 3

Percy, Titus, and Annabeth were forced to set off on a new adventure in the two-part premiere of Percy Jackson and the Olympians for two reasons. One: They had to travel to the Sea of Monsters because Grover's life depends on it (and it could provide them with the magical fleece to save Camp Half-Blood). And two: King Tantalus threatened to kill them for supposedly disobeying camp rules.

The third episode will see them come face-to-face with some archenemies unexpectedly quickly. The episode is titled "We Board the Princess Andromeda" and it will pick up where the previous one left off, as Percy, Annabeth, and Titus venture out to sea. However, when they arrive at the ship that Hermes gained them passage aboard, they will seemingly cross paths with Luke Castellan himself. Needless to say, they weren't expecting to cross paths with the beginnings of Kronos' army so soon into their new quest.

The trailer for episode 3 confirmed these major revelations, so you know that's only the beginning of the surprises. What else hasn't the preview shown us, and what will our heroes do when they come face-to-face with Luke aboard the Princess Andromeda?

The pacing of this season has been thrilling thus far, as that will make two early run-ins with Luke already. But is Hermes correct? Can his son be saved? Or is Percy the right one here? Has he truly lost hope in bringing his former friend back to the side of the light? We won't have too long to wait until we get at least some of these answers!
