Our favorite demigods are back on our screens for yet another adventure that is sure to widen our eyes on more than one occasion. If you've already watched the two-episode premiere of Percy Jackson and the Olympians' second season, you'll know that it already has offered up plenty of those moments.
Based on Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson book series, the Disney Plus show made quite the impression with its first season, and there is no doubt that it's going to do it all over again. The streaming service has a lot of faith in the series after its debut performance, and that is extremely clear in both the scope of the second season and the fact that there is already a third season in the works. Yep, Percy's grandest adventures are still very much ahead of him!
Speaking of season 2, should you be awaiting any post-credits scenes after the credits roll?
There is a surprise after the main credits of Percy Jackson season 2 (but it's not a scene)
If you watch your TV shows on the Disney Plus streaming service, you're probably well aware of the importance of post-credits scenes. A fixture of the Marvel Studios shows that are exclusive to the platform (which spun out of the MCU movies), they often make their presence felt after specific episodes of the comic book adventures. Can Percy Jackson say that it also boasts the same treats? Yes and no.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 does feature a surprise for fans after the main credits roll, but it's not a mid or post-credits scene; it's a trailer for the next episode. Both of the first two episodes feature this trait, previewing what's to come in the next installments of the show. And if you're a fan of the series who has been watching since the first season's premiere, you'll probably be familiar with that device.

The post-credits teaser is a fixture for the show and was present all throughout season 1, constantly giving fans a glimpse of what they could expect throughout the season. We can definitely expect the second season to continue that trend, as the first episode's teased the chariot races in the sophomore installment while that episode's featured a sneak peek of some returning characters and trials to come for the beloved demigods of the show.
So, while you should definitely watch on through the majestic credits of Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2, you won't find a new scene at the end of each episode. But what you will find is just as effective, as it will give you a glimpse into the immediate future of the show. And, at the end of the day, that is also the purpose of a post-credits scene.
So, yes, stick around demigods! There is still fun to be had when those earlier credits begin rolling on each episode.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 streams new episodes on Disney Plus each Wednesday.
