After a near-two-year wait, Percy Jackson and the Olympians made a triumphant return to Disney Plus at the end of 2025 to kick off its highly-anticipated (and long-awaited!!) second season. The fan-favorite show brought Walker Scobell's demigod hero back for another adventure that promised to be even more ambitious than its predecessor, and as for whether it pulled it off or not, we simply have four words for you: The Sea of Monsters.
Percy, Annabeth, and Clarisse sailed their way across the Sea of Monsters, encountering some terrifying beasts along the way, as they searched for the Golden Fleece to save Camp Half-Blood. They also needed to save their friend Grover, who wasn't too far away from becoming seafood. They succeeded in doing so, and now we have just one episode left of the second season, as our heroes look to finish their quest on a successful note. Here's how you can watch their next installment - a.k.a. the season 2 finale! - to see if they succeed.

What to expect from the Percy Jackson season 2 finale
All season long, Percy and his allies have been cashing the Golden Fleece. It's been an enticing season, for sure, but also an incredibly powerful one, as Percy was worried that his own actions might ultimately lead him down a dark path. Yes, the prophecy hung in the air, and it was up to him to prove anyone who worried about his choices wrong.
There have been moments of hope throughout, too. For starters, Grover was able to reach Percy in a dream to ask for help and reveal the Golden Fleece's true location, and the gang's longtime enemy Clarisse actually showed the potential of being a friend to them along the way. Like the Sea of Monsters itself, the waves were rocky and there were obstacles along the way, but victory wasn't impossible.
But we'll see just how possible it is in the season 2 finale, which promises to show us what the Golden Fleece is truly capable of. This show doesn't hold back when it comes to its ambitious nature, so we don't expect the finale to do so either. The question is: Who will be left standing when all is said and done - and will Camp Half-Blood be standing alongside them?
We don't have to wait much longer to find out as the Percy Jackson season 2 finale is almost upon us!
