Rise of the Ronin

Up until now, we've only talked about video game sequels or projects that use characters from existing franchises. So to shake things up a little, let's talk about Rise of the Ronin, a completely original adventure.

Team Ninja, the studio behind Nioh, is developing a PlayStation-exclusive game that takes place in 1863. Players can use grapple hooks and gliding devices to traverse the very first open world in Team Ninja's career. Its fast-paced combat seems completely different from that of Ghost of Tsushima, another samurai game published by Sony. That's more than great, as it will make for a completely new experience even if both games have some similar themes.

Rise of the Ronin is just mere months away, and it will be released on March 22, 2024, on PlayStation 5.

Alone in the Dark

After being delayed twice, we're 90% sure Alone in the Dark is finally coming out on March 20, 2024. With an all-star cast that includes David Harbour and Jodie Comer, this re-imagining of the 1992 cult classic looks like a must-play for horror fans. Better yet, you can already play the prologue for free, and get a better idea of what haunting dangers await at Derceto Mannor.

Alone in the Dark is set to release on March 20, 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
