She's back! After three long years, Agatha Harkness has once again flown onto our screens for a delightfully spooky seasonal treat. That's right; It's the season of the witch, and nobody is celebrating that more than Marvel Studios with the release of the spooky spectacular on Disney Plus.

Agatha All Along is a spinoff of WandaVision, with Kathryn Hahn reprising her role from Marvel's original Disney Plus series. When we last saw the character, she was masquerading as nosy neighbor Agnes in a bid to steal the power of the Scarlet Witch. Unfortunately for her, that resulted in a three-year imprisonment in the character she was playing. And Agatha became Agnes once more.

WandaVision was a more light-hearted outing in the beginning but it had plenty of mature themes in its second half. But how does Agatha All Along fare? It's a spooky Halloween treat, yes, but it's also set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; so just how dark does the series get? If you're planning on watching with your kids, here's what you need to know.

Agatha All Along is rated TV-14 like most Marvel Disney Plus shows

Agatha All Along has an age rating of TV-14. That's the same as almost all of the previous Marvel Studios shows produced for Disney Plus, and it means that it's suitable for teens aged 14 and up.

Marvel has been experimenting this year, with previous MCU show Echo receiving a TV-MA rating and Deadpool and Wolverine becoming the first ever MCU movie to receive an R rating. But Agatha is more in line with typical Marvel, meaning that it won't venture too outside the realm of what's acceptable in this franchise.

If you are hoping to sit down and watch it with your kids over the Halloween season, here's what you should know about it.

Violence: The violence in Agatha All Along isn't that different to what you'd expect from typical superhero or fantasy properties. As magic is involved, the fight scenes are less physical and more campy, with levitations and energy blasts. There is, however, a physical fight between Agatha and another witch that involves one character cutting themselves on the blades of a pair of scissors.

A character is hit by a car in the first episode of the series, but they don't suffer any life-threatening injuries.

As revealed in the trailer, there is a dead body in the first scene of the show. The body is face-down and covered in normal clothes, so there aren't any visible injuries but viewers are told that it shows signs of being crushed to death by a large weight.

Scariness: For the most part, Agatha All Along approaches its horror elements with a more gimmicky, spooky approach. It's all very campy for the most part, but there are some darker elements that are worth bringing up. The Salem's Seven are a group of dark, druid-like figures with masked-but-scary faces, which might be frightening for younger audiences. One is also seen crawling down the stairs in a very contorted, demonic, manner.

As the trailer reveals, there is a fiery demon that appears in one episode throughout the remainder of the series. Furthermore, one character will suddenly claw their way out of what appears to be a grave (which will no doubt make for a jump-scare when it happens), and there are a couple of other darker elements that come up that might be worth checking out before your kids watch it.

Sex and Nudity: While there are no sex scenes in the early episodes of Agatha All Along, there is partial nudity in the first episode. It's played off for comedic purposes as a naked woman walks through the neighborhood confused about something. Her chest and upper body and covered by her long hair but there is an ever-so-brief shot of her bare behind as she walks away from the camera.

Language: Most Marvel Studios projects tend to steer clear of too much profanity, so you won't be surprised to learn that Agatha All Along does the same. There are, however, mild instances of "bad" language such as when Agatha says "eat my ass". She also calls her own coven of witches "bitches" at one point in frustration. The word "sh*t" is also used at one point.

Agatha All Along streams new episodes on Disney Plus on Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. ET and 6:00 p.m. PT.
