Another 5 MCU characters who definitely won't return in Phase Five

We're around halfway through the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it still feels like there is a mountain of content to come. A good part of the reasoning behind that is that there is, in fact, still a mountain of content to come. Ever since the debut of the Disney Plus streaming service, the MCU has been able to spread its reach across film and streaming TV, building out the universe in ways that it couldn't before.

Due to that expansion, the Multiverse Saga (which commenced in Phase Four) has been far larger than its predecessor, the Infinity Saga. It also means that the phases could end up running over a longer period of time because of how many titles need to be released. And even though that means more opportunities to see some of our favorite characters, it also means we might have to wait longer to see them.

In Phase Five, we've already caught up with the likes of Nick Fury, Star-Lord, Captain Marvel, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, but there are some characters we shouldn't expect to see back until Phase Six at the earliest. We've already dove into four characters we shouldn't expect to see anytime soon (and four more), but who else won't be back this time around?

From characters who have already appeared too recently to those who just won't return at all, let's take a look at some more major characters who won't return before the end of Phase Five. And just a reminder that this includes upcoming MCU movies Deadpool and Wolverine, Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts, as well as Disney Plus shows Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, Eyes of Wakanda, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Marvel Zombies, Daredevil: Born Again, and Ironheart.
