In a mid-credit scene for The Marvels, Marvel Studios threw a delightful curveball with a cameo that hit the sweet spot for fans: Kelsey Grammer's return as Beast, reprising his role from Fox's X-Men film series. This moment felt like a perfectly pitched piece of fan service, navigating the often tricky terrain of post-credits scenes and surprise appearances, as it was a welcome return that teased the potential of a moment fans have been waiting to see happen for a very long time.

Grammer, remembered fondly for his portrayal of Beast in 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand, slipped back into the blue fur for a memorable scene in the MCU's 2023 finale. His surprise yet very welcome appearance provided both a sense of nostalgia and excitement.
