The Orville and 3 TV shows we might never see again

Wolf Pack
On paper, Wolf Pack seemed like a sure-fire hit for Paramount+. The show hailed from Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis and was heavily promoted with a premiere timed to the release of Teen Wolf: The Movie. Plus it starred pop culture icon Sarah Michelle Gellar in her first series regular role on a live-action show since CBS's The Crazy Ones and her first key role in a supernatural series since Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The show seemed to generate some great buzz and audiences really enjoyed the 8-episode first season of the show. Sadly, it seems Paramount+ wasn't as impressed as there have been absolutely no renewal updates in the months since the show's March 16 finale. In fact, Paramount+ refuses to give any type of update on season 2 which does not exactly instill confidence.
During a December readers' mailbag, TVLine offered up a less than promising update on season 2 telling a reader that "We ask… and we ask… but…. Still crickets, thus far." This was in regard to a reader asking if there was any word about Wolf Pack being renewed.
While there is always a chance Paramount+ could surprise us, we have to imagine if they saw value in the show it would have already been renewed. Instead, it remains in limbo and the odds of another season happening continue to look less likely with each passing month.
