The next Marvel show after Daredevil: Born Again is coming sooner than you know

Daredevil: Born Again may have wrapped its first season, but more Marvel adventures await the small screen shortly afterwards.

As hard as it is to believe, Daredevil: Born Again has completed its first season. Was that sooner than you thought? Perhaps, and there are multiple reasons for that. For starters, the show was initially expected to have 18 episodes in its first season, but a creative overhaul and repackaging resulted in it being split into two shorter seasons instead. And then you have the fact that the series premiered with two episodes, and released two together midway through its run, shortening what was initially expected to be an eight-week run.

Nevertheless, seeing Matt Murdock and all of his friends from Hell's Kitchen and the original Daredevil series back on our screens in the Disney Plus revival has been nothing short of a delight. And what's even better is that they will all be back in the show's upcoming second season next year.

But if you can't wait that long for more Marvel, you will be thrilled to know that you won't have to wait as long for the next live-action series as you might think. In 2024, there was a long gap between the MCU shows as Echo released in January and Agatha All Along arrived in September. That won't be the case here.

Ironheart premieres on Disney Plus this summer

We're already into the spring and the next Disney Plus installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will arrive in the early summer. That's right, Ironheart is coming to a small screen near you in the coming months, with its premiere episode set to stream on Disney Plus on June 24, 2025.

A spinoff of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the show stars Dominique Thorne, who reprises her role as Riri Williams in the six-part drama. The character debuted in the 2022 movie and quickly became a fan-favorite, helping Shuri, Okoye and the Wakandans defeat Namor. Williams also reprised the role in animated series What If...?, voicing the character in one of the third season's best episodes.

Ironheart has been in the works for some time now. In fact, it completed production in 2022 and was planned to premiere before now, but Marvel Studios ultimately decided to hold off on releasing as it restructured its release format and changed how it produces television. It was finally confirmed last year that the show would arrive in 2025, setting the stage for Riri Williams' long-awaited live-action return to the MCU.

Riri is a visionary who can create stunning technological devices and projects, with her Ironheart suit rivalling even Tony Stark's iconic Iron Man suit, so fans are excited to see how she fares in her own standalone project. What's even more interesting is that, even though Ironheart looks like it will be a grounded series, it will also feature some mystical elements as The Hood will make an appearance and Sacha Baron Cohen is expected to play Mephisto.

Ironheart won't even be the last Marvel series this year, with fellow live-action series Wonder Man arriving this December. There will also be animated additions to the MCU with Eyes of Wakanda arriving in August and Marvel Zombies coming in October.

If you can't wait for any of those, though, you can catch the next MCU adventure on the silver screen even sooner than that, with Thunderbolts* coming out on May 2. After that, Marvel's First Family arrives on the big screen in The Fantastic Four: First Steps on July 25!
