The world of The Walking Dead is full of potential. The legendary TV franchise has shown viewers around the world that there is life after the apocalypse, as a multitude of survivors have bounded together and found some semblance of a new beginning. Although the threats remain, they continue to fight for their loved ones, and for the life that they long for, even after the credits rolled on the original series.
Since the conclusion of The Walking Dead, the TWD Universe has expanded more than ever. Rick and Michonne reunited, Maggie and Negan went to New York City, and Daryl and Carol went to France. Shorter seasons of these spinoff shows have allowed for bigger budgets and the sky has quite literally been the limit for them.
Now, the third of those aforementioned groups looks to take their story into new territory, exploring new fields and settings. And now we have a first in-depth look at what one of them looks like.
First look at The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3's new London setting
15 years into this long-running story and we finally know what London looks like in the TWD Universe. Spoiler alert: It's as uneasily majestic looking as Paris, New York, and all of the other cities in the franchise's spinoffs. And that means that we're in for one heck of a visual ride in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3.

Although a previous trailer for the show's upcoming third season gave us a glimpse of Daryl and Carol's trip to London, this new image offers up a clearer look at the post-apocalyptic setting, showcasing what the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben look like in the world of The Walking Dead. Again, just like the untouched settings of France in the first season, it's eerily beautiful - once again highlighting how Daryl Dixon has mastered the art of being a visual masterpiece.
Ever since the conclusion of the second season last fall, it has been clear that Daryl and Carol are heading further into Europe in a bid to get back home to America. The pair left France in the season 2 finale, entering a dark tunnel that very nearly resulted in them falling victim to a horde of walkers. Thankfully, they overcame their demons and ventured on through. Its expected that this journey will lead to them arriving in Spain.

What's most interesting about these recent London reveals is that the third season of Daryl Dixon looks like it will primarily be set in Spain. Although the episode count has not yet been revealed, the new TWD spinoffs usually have between six and eight installments, so a lot is going to have to go down in order to get the pair from Spain to London. But then again, season 2 showed us how Carol flew from the US to France, so life does find a way in the TWD Universe. Or, well, Daryl and Carol do - that's for sure!
The beauty of the current TWD shows is that they are showcasing parts of the world that The Walking Dead wasn't able to during its run. We can't wait to see what both Spain and London look like when The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 premieres. And we won't have to wait too long for its arrival for the show's third season has been confirmed to premiere this September!
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 premieres on both AMC and AMC+ on September 7 2025.
