 4. Flag-Smasher

Talk about a villain who’s even more relevant now than when he was created for comics. Flag-Smasher was a Swiss terrorist (and really, you could even do fun things with that part of the concept alone) whose goal was to eliminate the ideas of countries and nationalism. Put him up against a man who walks around in the colors of his country and you’ve got a natural conflict.

He also headed up the organization called ULTIMATUM, which is the kind of acronym that’s silly but still would fit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Flag-Smasher’s costume would have to be modified for film as the one from the comics wouldn’t work, but designers could definitely make something out of the black-and-white color scheme and mask. To quote Edna Mode though, “No capes!”
