4. Pied Piper

We already know the producers plan on making Hartley Rathaway a recurring character, so chances are we’re getting the Pied Piper in some form. A mastery of sonics has made Piper both a formidable foe and a valuable ally to Flash at various points in his career, and one of my first DC comics memories involves one of his appearances drawn by the great Carmine Infantino.

In addition, Piper is one of the few openly gay characters in mainstream super hero comic, at least prior to relatively recent times. It would be interesting to see if that aspect is touched upon, as Arrow certainly had no qualms about depicting romantic feelings between Sara Lance and Nyssa al Ghul.
