After Batman vs. Robin releases in less than two weeks, the next animated feature film in DC’s pipeline is titled Justice League: Gods and Monsters, and it’s original story that features the Justice League as you’ve never seen them before.

In Justice League: Gods and Monsters, Batman is not Bruce Wayne. He is in fact Kirk Langstrom, who you may know as Man-Bat in DC comics continuity. Langstrom has cancer. To help keep the cancer at bay, he injects himself with Bat-venom, which gives him a thirst for blood. But don’t worry, he only feeds on criminals!

Batman isn’t the only one who has changed in Justice League: Gods & Monsters. Superman is a more violent Superman, raised by General Zod. And Wonder Woman is one of the New Gods, apparently getting married to Orion, but something goes wrong that compels her to come to Earth. Check out some pics of both Superman & Wonder Woman below:

The plot in Justice League: Gods and Monsters centers around the Justice League being framed for the murders of prominent scientists such as Ray Palmer & Victor Fries. Darkseid & Lex Luthor definitely play roles, but not much more is known at this time. Justice League: Gods & Monsters is scheduled for a release sometime in 2015. We here at Caped Crusades will be sure to keep you updated with the latest news and a review as soon as it comes out.
