Asa Butterfield will be new Spider-Man?

In today’s Spider-Man casting race update we can reveal that Asa Butterfield seems to have cemented his lead despite rumours that Tom Holland was also a big favourite and that he might not even be available to play the role.
I say we can reveal, what I actually mean is that Umberto Gonzalez, or El Mayimbe who is a popular ‘breaker’ of online film news has said as much on his Instagram account
"RT! BREAKING! THE NEWS YOU BEEN WAITING FOR! MARVEL HAS FOUND THEIR NEW SPIDER-MAN! IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S GOING TO BE ASA BUTTERFIELD FOLKS AS MARVEL HAS OFFICIALLY ENTERED INTO NEGOTATIONS WITH BUTTERFIELD’S REPS! PAPERWORK HAS NOT BEEN FINALIZED YET! ONCE DEAL CLOSES EXPECT AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! BOOM!"
So, is the race actually over? Has Butterfield become the next Spider-Man, or will there be another twist in the story that is the Spider-Man casting? Who knows at this point.
