In this first episode of Justice League: Gods & Monsters Chronicles, Batman (Kirk Langstrom, not Bruce Wayne) is tracking down a seemingly Jokerless Harley Quinn. Now, it’s never been mentioned that Joker exists in the alternate reality of Justice League: Gods & Monsters Chronicles, but unless they did something way different, there is no Harley Quinn without a Joker to create her, so maybe he pops up in the movie somewhere. This Harley Quinn is a little but different though, with a very different look and a much more vicious attitude along with a chainsaw as a weapon of choice. But in Justice League: Gods & Monsters Chronicles, Batman is very different as well. My only complaint about this is that it was a very short episode, under 6 minutes long. Not horribly unusual for a web series, but I was hoping for at least 10 minutes, which can make a huge difference in animation. But it’s certainly a well-done episode and it definitely left me wanting to see more of this world. Check out the first episode of Justice League: Gods & Monsters Chronicles below:
Look forward to more episode of Justice League: Gods & Monsters Chronicles leading up to the release of the full movie Justice League: Gods & Monsters on July 28th.
