Comic-Con 2015: X-Men: Apocalypse Full Trailer Leaked
By Steve Lam
Well, this was bound to happen sooner or later. I’m actually really surprised that this didn’t happen sooner though. The exclusive not-to-be-shown-to-the-public trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse has leaked online. The leak is courtesy of AlphaNerd. You should watch it as soon as possible before Fox takes it down. Although going by how the leaked trailer for Deadpool and the previously leaked small segment of the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer haven’t been taken down, I think Fox has basically put their hands up and called it quits in going after people. Besides, it’s garnered nothing but positive attention to their properties.
WARNING: The trailer contains a small instance of strong language
Just today, Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to tell people that an official finished trailer for Deadpool will be on the way in three weeks. Followers of Reynolds reacted excitedly, but are still content with the lower quality leaked trailer because it’s been everything they’ve hoped for.
Writer Simon Kinberg has, in the past, commented that X-Men: Apocalypse will end the current trilogy which began with X-Men: First Class.
X-Men: Apocalypse has a planned release date of May 27, 2016 and will be directed by Bryan Singer and written by Simon Kinberg, Dan Harris, and Michael Dougherty, and will star James McAvoy as Charles Xavier / Professor X, Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellan as Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkhölme, Nicholas Hout as Hank McCoy / Beast, Evan Peters as Peter Maximoff / Quicksilver, Oscar Isaac as En Sabah Nur / Apocalypse, Alexandra Shipp as Ororo Munroe / Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers / Cyclops, Rose Burne as Moira MacTaggert, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler, Lana Condor as Jubilation Lee, Ben Hardy as Warren Worthington III / Angel, Olivia Munn as Betsy Braddock / Psylocke, and Lucas Till as Alex Summers / Havok.
