Captain America: Civil War Principle Photography Is Complete
By Nick Tylwalk
The hard work for the cast of Captain America: Civil War is done.
Louis D’Esposito, co-president of Marvel Studios and an executive producer on the film, announced on Twitter that the filming had wrapped, and various outlets posted pictures of the stars doing some partying to celebrate.
Of course, some of the commenters on Twitter immediately asked the logical question of D’Esposito: when are we going to see a Civil War trailer? People who were lucky enough to be at the D23 Expo have been raving about the sizzle reel shown there, and one can only imagine that a full trailer will bring the goods.

There’s no real rush from that from Disney’s perspective, though. A full theatrical trailer would make perfect sense in front of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which comes out in December. A teaser a few months before that would also be logical, so October sounds like as good a guess as any.
In any case, next up for Captain America: Civil War is post-production work, getting it polished up for a May 6, 2016 release.
