As we’ve discussed many times before, Batman: The Animated Series is one of the seminal incarnations of the Caped Crusader.
The brainchild of Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, TAS defined Batman for more than multiple generations. Now there’s an amazing collection on Imgur of the gorgeous episode title screens from the show in HD.

The aesthetic of the show itself was inspired by Max Fleischer’s Superman serials of the 1940’s.

This is a classic piece of Batman history and should be heralded for its writing, concept, design and for truly capturing the spirit of the Dark Knight at its core.
