Check Out This Crazy Swiss Batman Watch
By Skip Harvey
Swiss watchmakers Romain Jerome just showed their love of Batman with the revealing of a crazy new timepiece.
The SpaceCraft Batman watch was made in conjunction with WB and DC Entertainment and may be one of the strangest, fanciest watches around.
"The new limited edition watch is the next generation in the brand’s Batman series. The previous Spacecraft watch had the same case but not the iconic blue and black color combination, or the other Batman signatures that the brand embraces in the the DC Comic’s Caped Crusader watch rendition."
"The new Spacecraft: Batman watch is crafted of titanium with black PVD finish that mirrors the Bat mobile, the trapeze-shaped watch indicates time in a linear digit readout on the trapeze case side — much like the old driver’s watches of yesteryear but in tomorrow’s space age configuration. the hour is iridescent blue, and the minute indicator is shown on a black disk with blue cursor — on top of the case. This watch marks the first Romain Jerome “Horological Icon” collection watch to have a logo engraved on the watch. In this instance, the Bat-signal is engraved on the facets of the watch."
The watch is self-winding and features what they cal ‘lateral, linear, jumping and retrograde’ indicators. You can get your own for the low, low price of $32,950, but you’d better hurry because there are only 75 being made. Good luck with that.
