NYCC 15: Batman: Killing Joke Could be ‘R’?
By Skip Harvey
Hey there, Bat-fans! New York Comic-Con is in full swing and we’re getting more and more Batman news as the weekend rolls on.
The latest rumors come from last night’s panel for the DC Animated film Batman: Bad Blood when producer James Tucker addressed the upcoming adaptations of Alan Moore’s The Killing Joke. Tucker dropped the news that DC has given him the green light to make the film rated R.
Here’s the thing, though. He then denied all of it.
Sadly, that means we have no idea what he actually said, but it looks like this may go unrealized. DC could very easily just go the rout of Under the Red Hood and be graphic without such a rating.
