Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Jubilee
It’s a shame we didn’t get the amazing mall scene that featured Landa Condor’s interpretation of the character. Even more disappointing is that Condor didn’t return for Dark Phoenix. Jubilee and Condor were wasted in Apocalypse. Although, Condor has found success after her performance in the role.
Jubilee needs a reboot form Disney, since Fox did nothing for her. In the ’90s, Marvel opted to give Wolverine a sidekick. Guess who that was? Jubilee. A solid source for some Jubilee material is Fox’s animated series.
The pilot episode saw her foster parents rat her out to mutant control. While on the run, she ran into Storm and Rogue before ultimately being saved and brought to the Mansion. Like the comics, she shared a uniquebond with Wolverine.
In the comics, Jubilee helps Wolverine by nursing him back to health. This happened after he was crucified by the Reavers, which honestly sounds like it would make for a great miniseries.
Andi Mack star Peyton Elizabeth Lee fits the bill. She’s 15 and looks like Jubilee ripped from the comics. In fact, rumors suggested Lee was at one point considered for the role of Cassandra Cain in Birds of Prey. She’s not Cassandra Cain, but she could be an amazing Jubilee.
