Kevin Feige confirms that Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight will show up in MCU films after their Disney Plus shows.

Marvel Studios is adding several new characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe through its limited series on Disney Plus. And as many expected, the characters will eventually make the leap to the big screen.

Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige confirmed to THR that Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight are all set to appear in MCU films following their respective shows. The film producer wouldn’t give specifics, but these appearances are likely years away.

The confirmation doesn’t come as surprise, as Marvel has stressed that the Disney Plus shows are firmly set in the MCU. With this in mind, it would make sense for the three to transition to the film realm.

When it comes to these series, the company has been particularly shrewd about casting. New additions like WandaVision‘s Teyonah Parris, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s Wyatt Russell, and Hailee Steinfeld  — who may be close to joining Hawkeye — are actors known for their work and both film and television. Casting choices like these show that Marvel Studios is aiming for actors who have experience in both mediums.

There are currently no release windows for Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk or Moon Knight, but all three projects are in active development. Just recently, both She-Hulk and Moon Knight tapped showrunners, while Ms. Marvel found its lead months ago.

Introducing these three heroes into the movies will expand the franchise and allow for more crossovers between characters. Kamala Khan could theoretically appear in a Young Avengers movie, and She-Hulk or Moon Knight could become Avengers.

It remains to be seen what part they have to play in the overall scheme of the MCU, but Feige and company are sure to have big plans for them.
