Solo

Following Paladin is another unknown mercenary named James Bourne (a.k.a. Solo). Not to be confused with the action hero from the movies. James Bourne is a mercenary with morals. There was a time that he accidentally caused the death of someone while fighting Spider-Man. When he realized what he did, he waited for the police to admit what he’d done. Not a great career move, but an admirable one.

Overall, Solo is a good person. Sometimes he’s blinded by his obsession with money and terrorism to see what he’s doing. When he realizes what’s going on he does the right thing. In a run of Deadpool, Wade had a group called the Mercs for Money. One of their members was Solo. On a mission, they found out they were working for the bad guys. Solo gave up his cut of the money to help the people they affected.

Solo is another character that can be molded to fit a project. He can appear randomly in a show or in a movie. Marvel Studios could go bold and make him a partner for Deadpool. Jensen Ackles could play the guy who hates what Deadpool is doing and calls him out. If this does happen, hopefully he won’t be a casualty to a windy day like X-Force.
