WandaVision season 1: 15 fan theories so crazy, they might be true

WandaVision fan theories: Monica Rambeau will become Captain Marvel, Photon, Pulsar, or Spectrum

WandaVision will see some familiar faces return to the fold, including Kat Denning’s Darcy Lewis and Randall Park’s Agent Jimmy Woo. But we also know that Monica Rambeau, who was first introduced as a little girl in Captain Marvel, will be back this time as an adult for the Disney+ Original series.

The WandaVison show takes place 30 years after the events of Captain Marvel, and there is no telling what kind of things Monica has dealt with since then. Set photos have indicated she may very well be a part of S.W.O.R.D., the space-based counterpart to S.H.I.E.L.D., and Wanda could be who they are trying to save or stop from causing harm.

In the trailer for the Disney+ original series, there is a brief glimpse of Teyonah Parris as Rambeau being thrown through the air after presumably being hit with something powerful. She quickly rises to her feet after the ordeal indicating that she isn’t any ordinary human.

This could indicate that she is just learning how to use her powers, or it could be that Wanda is the one that gives her the ability to become Captian Marvel or her other comic book counterparts, including Photon, Pulsar, or Spectrum. The other three may be the case for now as Brie Larson is still the MCU’s Captain Marvel, and the other designations could be a place holder to build the character up before taking over the mantle of Captain Marvel.

However, this theory plays out there is no denying that whichever hero Monica Rambeau becomes in WandaVision, it will be a very welcomed addition to a fascinating and impactful series.
