4. Captain Marvel 2

Not much is known about the plot of the upcoming sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel film. However, thanks to some cast reveals, we likely assume that S.W.O.R.D. will be involved in some shape or form. The group is currently being introduced in the Disney+ series WandaVision, and with the inclusion of Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau in the film, expect the agency to make an appearance during Captain Marvel 2.

S.W.O.R.D. could be an interesting way to help reintroduce Captain America to Carol Danvers, as it would be an interesting concept to have an aged Steve Rogers using his knowledge to help S.W.O.R.D. with their mission of dealing with any possible intergalactic threats.

It would also be a cool moment to see these two reunite, as they both seemed to share a mutual respect for one another during their time together in Avengers: Endgame.

Seeing Captain Marvel given more of an opportunity to interact with other heroes would also be beneficial for the character and very interesting to see, considering Danvers is a main member of the Avengers in many forms of media. Having Steve Rogers play a supporting role in Captain Marvel 2 could make that happen.
