Jon Favreau has confirmed scripts for The Mandalorian season 4 have been already written.

Jon Favreau, showrunner of the Space Western action-adventure web-television series, The Mandalorian, has revealed that all scripts for the fourth season have been completed already.

Favreau confirmed this in an interview with BFMTV (H/T: CBR.com) saying: “Season 4? Yeah, I’ve written it already.”

He went on to state that one of the sole reasons why they are so far in advance with The Mandalorian Season 4 is because it helped to keep the continuity aligned with other live-action Star Wars series with the likes of Skeleton Crew helmed by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford and Ahsoka, Favreau is showrunning alongside Dave Filoni with both projects dropping at some point in 2023. Favreau responded to the scripting process:

"“We have to know where we’re going to tell a fully-formed story, so we had mapped it out, [executive producer] Dave [Filoni] and I, and then slowly you just write each episode. So I was writing it during post-production [on The Mandalorian Season 3] because all of it has to feel like a continuation, one full story.”"

Difficulties filming The Mandalorian Season 3…

Known for its steady pace, psychobabble-heavy dialog, and great action set-pieces with a storyline that is clear as day by each self-contained episode. Most of the members of the cast, including Katee Sackoff (who played Bo-Katan Kryze) on the show shared her experience filming Season 3 of The Mandalorian. The LED video-walled sets caused Sackoff to undergo unpleasant stomach aches and nausea. She also sustained several bumps and bruises along the way.

These were while filming scenes with the Razor Crest [spaceship] and performing some of her own stunts. Despite this, the Battlestar Galactica actress who reprised her role of Kryze from the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels in live-action enjoyed the challenge and did not seem to be bothered by her minor injuries.
