The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up to have its biggest year yet since the beginning of the Multiverse Saga. Earth's Mightiest Heroes will finally return to the big screen in Avengers: Doomsday, while the wall-crawler will star in a street-level movie courtesy of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Furthermore, many exciting projects are coming to the small screen as well, as Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will reunite the Man Without Fear with Jessica Jones, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 is set to showcase two different versions of the wall-crawler.

Among every movie and series on the horizon, there's one that has been surrounded in secrecy since its very announcement. VisionQuest will mark the very first time audiences see White Vision since its debut back in 2021, and no one truly knows what the iconic android has been up to during these years, nor what its next move will be. Fortunately, Marvel finally decided to pull the curtain on this anticipated project, and it may shape up to be one of the most important superhero shows of next year.

VisionQuest will be the conclusion of the WandaVision trilogy; Speed is set to appear

It all started when the Scarlet Witch created her perfect world (or Hex) in WandaVision as a means to deal with the pain of losing her other half. The story was then followed on Agatha All Along, where it was not only revealed that Wanda's two kids are truly alive, but Wiccan took the spotlight for himself. Now, it will all come to an end during Vision Quest, where Vision will come to terms with all the memories of his past self, and Speed will finally make his long-awaited debut.

During New York Comic Con 2025, Marvel revealed that VisionQuest will act as the culmination of the WandaVision trilogy. Furthermore, the superhero giant delivered exciting cast announcements. For starters, Ruaridh Mollica will officially play the role of Tommy Maximoff, better known as Speed. James Spader will make a big MCU comeback, reprising his role as Ultron for the very first time since 2015. Additionally, many other A.I.s are about to take over the small screen, as D.U.M.-E and U—who were Tony Stark's hydraulic arm robot assistants—will be portrayed by Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer, respectively.

Audiences will watch J.A.R.V.I.S. in his human form, with actor James D’Arcy set to portray him, much like he did in Agent Carter. Furthermore, Orla Brady will bring F.R.I.D.A.Y. to life, and Emily Hampshire will be E.D.I.T.H. Marvel also revealed the very first sneak peek for Vision Quest for those in attendance, and while the footage has yet to make its way online, we have a description of it.

White Vision, Ultron, Jarvis, Friday, and Edith were all shown in their human forms on a "surreal house", which Variety described as a white mansion and fans called "Vision's own Hex", taking place in his mind. Vision will recall that he used to have a family, while Ultron claims that our protagonist is "a ghost haunting its footsteps". The footage ended with a first look at Speed in a CC-TV recording.

Paul Bettany also gave us some interesting tidbits about VisionQuest by stating: "Red Vision gave Vision all of his memories, including the memories from the hex, but White Vision is having difficulty connecting to them. White Vision’s journey is his attempt to connect to those memories and who he was". The android's quest to reconnect with his previous life will likely bring him face-to-face with one of his sons, Speed.

Given that Vision's upcoming adventure will be the final chapter of the WandaVision trilogy, fans are eager to know if characters like Agatha and Wiccan could make an appearance or whether the true fate of the Scarlet Witch will be revealed. On the bright side, we won't have to wait long to find out, as VisionQuest will be released on Disney+ in 2026.
