Marvel Studios is preparing to continue one of its most compelling, long-running storylines. It shouldn't come as a surprise considering how the Marvel Cinematic Universe has produced some legendary sequels in the past (Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Infinity War / Endgame come to mind, immediately) but it's clear that the back half of 2026 is going to be filled out fallout from two major MCU stories.
While Avengers: Doomsday will undoubtedly exhilarate on the silver screen, taking fans one step closer to the Multiverse Saga's conclusion, it's the other 2026 MCU sequel that we're talking about here. And, as this one has been in the works for some time now, anticipation is high for the finished product. It just so happens that Marvel Studios has unveiled another brand new look at it - and it looks great.
Vision takes center stage in brand new VisionQuest posters
The official VisionQuest posters have been unveiled, showcasing the three stages of the iconic synthezoid's life in the MCU. You might actually recognize them from the very first trailer for the Disney Plus show, as they are designed to appear like movie posters - and those very same posters appear on the walls of the movie theater within Vision's mind.

The first of the posters shows an artistic rendering of Vision's birth from the 2015 Avengers: Age of Ultron, when the character was essentially born to battle and defeat Ultron. The second shows his death at the hands of Thanos in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War when the Mad Titan ripped the Mind Stone out of his head. And the third sums up his current era, showcasing the synthezoid in his current White Vision form with the words "Re/Vision" on the poster.
"Re/Vision" is pretty apt, for Vision has been reborn. Rebuilt by SWORD and sent into Westview to kill his former love Wanda Maximoff, he eventually faced off against a fictional version of himself that Wanda had created as part of her grieving process after Thanos had killed him. And that other Vision restored the real one's memories, leaving him to contemplate his own existence - an existence without the emotions attached to those memories.
That's where these posters come in throughout the actual show. They are on the walls of the movie theater that Vision frequents within his own mind (along with former enemy Ultron, with James Spader reprising his role). The movie that he's going to see? A replay of his life events, including his origins as an Avenger in Age of Ultron to the other version's life with Wanda in Westview during the events of WandaVison. That's the Re/Vision we're talking about!
VisionQuest is a direct sequel to WandaVision, bringing Paul Bettany back as Vision to round out the story. However, it's also a follow-up to the first spinoff Agatha All Along, which delved into the return of one of Wanda and Vision's sons - Billy Maximoff - who, with the help of legendary witch Agatha Harkness, successfully managed to rescue the soul of his twin brother Tommy. The very same Tommy that Vision will come across in VisionQuest as the father-son bond could very well be what ultimately saves his soul.
It goes without saying that VisionQuest is going to be a journey of self-discovery - or, well, re-discovery - for Vision and that just makes it another imperative entry in Marvel Studios' critically-acclaimed WandaVision Trilogy. We can't wait to see how it impacts him and if it will set the franchise on the path officially to bringing the Scarlet Witch herself, Wanda Maximoff, back from the dead to reunite with her family. You just know that the fans have been waiting for that!
VisionQuest arrives on Disney Plus on October 14, 2026.
