Given how close Spider-Man and the Human Torch are on comic book pages, it would be great to see that friendship on the big screen. Additionally, with the rumor that Deadpool 4 will be a team-up movie, could the web-slinger face off the Merc With a Mouth in a quip-off battle? And wouldn't it be nice to see Spidey joining forces with Daredevil? You get the point.
Peter Parker is one of the most popular comic book characters ever created. Given how beloved he is and how long he was isolated from the MCU, fans now want to see him cross paths with many other street-level heroes. Fortunately, it seems Marvel might look to deliver on that promise big time.

Daredevil: Born Again not only marked the devil's return to the small screen, but it also planted the seeds for big storylines to come. With Kingpin becoming the mayor of New York City and outlawing all vigilantes, it was only a matter of time before different heroes started to feel the consequences. Matt Murdock was the first to stand up to this new regime, with Jessica Jones soon to follow. Fortunately, many other fan favorites could come together to put Wilson Fisk's reign to an end.
According to reliable insider Alex Perez, Marvel is planning a big street-level crossover movie involving characters like Spider-Man, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, the Punisher, and more. The movie would serve as the culmination of the Devil's Reign comic book storyline adaptation, which began in the Hawkeye Disney+ series.
During the finale of Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock stated that he'll need an army to take the Kingpin and his forces down. Not only did that moment feature a hidden Spider-Man Easter Egg, but it paved the way for Jessica Jones to make her long-awaited comeback. Incidentally, it has been reported that all of the Defenders will reunite in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
As for the Punisher, he is confirmed to share the big screen with Peter Parker later this year in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Furthermore, Frank Castle also has a long past with Matt Murdock, so the violent antihero could very well be the one to bring some of these characters together. Additionally, the Punisher Special Presentation could dive deeper into the Kingpin's reign and the secondary effects it has on other heroes living in New York.
The rumored crossover movie would take place in the MCU's next saga, after the release of Avengers: Secret Wars. Furthermore, it has been reported that this is only one of the different plans Marvel has to bring Spider-Man and other street-level heroes together. With that in mind, it will take a while before anything is set in stone, and Daredevil properly joins forces with Peter Parker. Fortunately, the Devil's Reign storyline will continue soon.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will follow up on Wilson Fisk's hunt for superheroes. Furthermore, the series will finally unveil whether the Defenders will make their MCU debut or not. Besides, there is also a chance we get yet another Spider-Man reference in Matt Murdock's upcoming adventure, bringing the two heroes even closer together. The best part? It won't be long before we dive into the dark streets of Hell's Kitchen yet again.
