It isn't long now until the Devil of Hell's Kitchen returns to screens. Matt Murdock's war on crime continues in the heavily-anticipated Daredevil: Born Again, which premieres on Disney Plus this March. A revival of the Netflix series that debuted a decade ago, the Marvel Studios production brings back the majority of the cast for a new adventure, catching us up with their respective characters for the first time in around six years.
Fans are curious about whether the Disney Plus show will have the same levels of maturity and violence as its Netflix predecessor, and the trailer certainly suggests that it will - as have the early social media reactions, which are full of praise for the hard-hitting drama. And with that, the next step if to simply await its arrival, for Matt Murdock's adventures will begin all over again very, very soon.
That brings us to the release schedule for the show, and it's certainly different from what most of us were expecting.
Daredevil: Born Again full release schedule
Disney Plus has unveiled the release schedule for Daredevil: Born Again, and it's safe to say that it's one of the streamer's more unique schedules. As previously confirmed, the show will premiere on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at 8/9c with a double-episode premiere, releasing the first two episodes at once. After that, it will revert to weekly releases like its predecessors, with a new episode coming out every Tuesday evening.
But wait, there's more! After embarking on the weekly release format for two weeks with episodes 3 and 4, the fifth and sixth episodes will release together to close out its March releases. You can check out the full schedule for the MCU series below:

Episode 5 | March 25, 2025 |
Episode 6 | March 25, 2025 |

Initially, Disney hadn't confirmed what the schedule would look like for the month of April, but it was pretty clear that the seventh episode would premiere on April 1. The only question was whether or not the eighth episode would too in a two-installment release. But that won't be the case as it turns out that the show will pivot back to weekly releases of single episodes straight through the month, with the finale will streaming on April 15.
Marvel Television has been experimenting with its release schedules in recent years. All of the MCU shows used to premiere on Friday mornings before shifting to Wednesdays (with the exception of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, which streamed on Thursdays). They then pivoted to Tuesday night releases upon seeing the success that the Star Wars Disney Plus shows had in that primetime timeslot and have retained it since, with both Loki season 2 and Agatha All Along enjoying a great deal of success there.
There have been other exceptions, however, with animated content coming out in the staple Wednesday morning slot and What If...? releasing new episodes daily in its second and third seasons.
While Daredevil: Born Again's release schedule does seem pretty standard for the most part, the double-release in the middle of its run is probably the most unusual thing about it. It's quite possible that we are getting a two-parter there, and if that's the case then we're probably in for a major shock at the end of episode 5. We can only imagine what the world of Hell's Kitchen has in store for MCU audiences.
