We are approaching the two-month mark to Avengers: Doomsday's release, so Marvel Studios is ramping up the marketing as it draws near. We've had multiple trailers since the summer, along with cast interviews, TV spots, and announcements at both San Diego Comic-Con and D23. Yeah, we're fully on the Avengers train right now!
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for what could very well be the biggest movie of all time, so it makes total sense that the studio is going all out on the marketing. They upped the ante recently with the re-release of Avengers: Endgame (a.k.a. Avengers Endgame: Encore), which features bonus footage designed to set up Avengers: Doomsday and helped the original 2019 movie across the line as the highest-grossing movie of all time again.
The newest look, however, comes in the form of an international poster, which spotlights both Doctor Doom and Earth's Mightiest Heroes themselves.
The Avengers assemble against Doctor Doom in new Doomsday poster
Marvel Studios has unveiled a brand new Korean poster for Avengers: Doomsday, which marks a significant change from the previous artwork for the movie. While every official piece of key art and poster has spotlighted Doctor Doom alone, this one shows us the heroes that will take him on as the fate of the multiverse is on the line.

This is certainly the most expansive Avengers: Doomsday poster yet, as Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom looms large over the destroyed battlefield that was once the multiverse itself. Below him are the heroes that are taking a stand to stop him, as the poster spotlights a handful of heroes - and, more specifically, a handful of the film's massive ensemble cast.
Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Sam Wilson's Captain America (Anthony Mackie) are on the front lines, which is a move that isn't unexpected considering that they are the leaders of the two respective teams of Avengers that will unite in the upcoming movie (Yelena's New Avengers / Thunderbolts and Sam's rebuilt original Avengers). Yelena is brandishing new clubs charged with electricity while Cap is, of course, showcasing his shield.
Behind them, the longest-standing Avengers - Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and original Captain America Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) - post emphatically, both brandishing their respective Asgardian weapons. Yes, the God of Thunder has his trusty axe Stormbreaker while Steve proves that he is still worthy enough to swing Mjolnir.
Mister Fantastic himself, Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), is there representing the Fantastic Four in the back, joined by the X-Men's Scott Summers / Cyclops (James Marsden), who is unleashing his iconic optic blast out into the area. On the other side, we have MCU veteran Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) looking pretty ominous and badass, while the God of Stories, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), is using his power to protect the multiverse from any more attacks.

Back towards the front, we have the Black Panther herself, Shuri (Letitia Wright), poised for attack and the legendary Professor Charles Xavier (Sir Patrick Stewart) enacting a psychic attack on whatever dangers are coming. And around them lie the ruins of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, as well as an army of Sentinels looming in the background.
Speaking of things in the background, right in the center of the poster you can see the source of all of the film's problems: Two worlds colliding. A multiversal incursion will be at the heart of the movie, with reports saying that Doom will use incursions to reshape the multiverse in his image. It's also expected that an incursion is what took Victor von Doom's family from him, starting his downward spiral into Doctor Doom.
We were all already hyped for Avengers: Doomsday, but this new poster has given us a taste of the big battle that is yet to come from the movie. We know that the film's cast is much larger than this, with the likes of Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Magneto (Sir Ian McKellen), Sentry (Lewis Pullman), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and so many more stars to its name.
Avengers: Doomsday arrives in movie theaters on December 18, 2026.
