The Doomsday clock is ticking for the heroes and villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Doomsday will bring forth the arrival of Victor von Doom, who is directly connected to the incursions that will be taking place across the multiverse and is, quite simply, the most intimidating threat that the MCU has ever faced - which is pretty incredible considering that this same franchise introduced audiences to Thanos.
It's all a part of the culmination of the franchise's Multiverse Saga, and the film will be bringing characters from Marvel Studios' past, present, and future together in what is sure to be a cinematic event that we will all still be talking about in years to come - right alongside its 2027's sequel Avengers: Secret Wars.
But, as the Avengers: Doomsday countdown continues to tick down, Marvel Studios has unveiled a special new teaser to mark a special occasion.
Marvel releases special new 100 days to Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer
In honor of the countdown to Avengers: Doomsday reaching the 100-day milestone, Marvel Studios has unveiled a brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming MCU movie. If you have been keeping up with the promo train - that has really kicked into gear since the first tickets announcement ahead of San Diego Comic-Con - you will know that the studio has been really leaning into the countdown device to ensure that we're all ready for the cinematic event of the year. And now, this new teaser is proof of that, too.
Before we dive any deeper, you can watch the clip for yourself below:
What's interesting about this particular teaser is that it combines the footage previously unveiled in both full-length Avengers: Doomsday trailers. So we get to see the likes of Steve Rogers, Shang-Chi, Black Panther, Captain America, Yelena Belova, and Sue Storm react to Doctor Doom's reign of terror - which was very much at the forefront of the more recent trailer, while also revisiting the footage of Thor and Steve's reunion (in which Steve successfully wields Mjolnir once again to prove his worthiness to the God of Thunder) that was the prominent closing moment of the first trailer.
It also focuses primarily on that now-infamous clip of Thor himself attempting to wield his own axe (Stormbreaker) against Doom, but to no avail - with the villain successfully blocking the attack with just two fingers. No matter how many times that we see it, it's still a blood-curdling sight - one that really intensifies the threat that Doom poses.
Throughout the teaser, the Doomsday clock surfaces, counting down from 100 days and 30 seconds. As the 30 seconds of the clip itself count down, the timer officially falls below 100 days, signifying how we are now below the triple-digit wait for the larger-than-life movie. And with that, the Doomsday Clock will look very different going forward, reminding us that Avengers: Doomsday is much, much closer.

As the teaser so aptly reminds us: Avengers: Doomsday is coming. Doctor Doom is coming. The incursions are coming. And the Multiverse Saga will never be the same. It's only a matter of time until the film arrives in movie theaters and shows us all of that for itself.
In the meantime, we can fully expect Marvel Studios to continue leaning into this incredible promotional tactic as the clock continues to tick down ahead of the MCU juggernaut film's eventual release.
Avengers: Doomsday arrives in movie theaters on December 18, 2026.
