The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has wasted little time in making an impact. The show returned to screens after a long wait with a two-episode premiere that really set the stage for an urgent, large-scale adventure. It's safe to say that it accomplished what it set out to do, because the Disney Plus show's adaptation of Rick Riordan's The Sea of Monsters has been thrilling thus far.

The third episode featured some unexpected surprises for Percy and the gang when it was revealed that Luke Castellan was running things on the Andromeda ship that Hermes sent them to. Although Luke tried to convince his former friend to join the dark side of Kronos, Percy - along with a little help from Annabeth and Titus - successfully managed to escape. But that cliffhanger left the season - and, indeed, the overall show - in a very interesting place.

What to expect in Percy Jackson season 2 episode 4

It's safe to say that the prophecy that Annabeth heard in the third installment can be interpreted in multiple different ways. And after running into Luke on the Andromeda, she may be beginning to fear that the worst possible interpretation is now a possibility. Needless to say, she won't know how to share these thoughts and fears with Percy, especially as we learned that him knowing too much could ultimately lead him to act differently.

Annabeth will be determined to save Percy from any potential dark fate, but the question is whether she will be able to share any of this with him. And how could that ultimately impact their friendship? They need to stick together in order to track down and save Grover from the Sea of Monsters - which, as the title of that particular sea suggests, will be easier said than done. If the two of them remain aligned as they were in season 1, they could very well turn the tide - no pun intended - and save their best friend, obtaining the Golden Fleece in the process. With Titus by their side, that might be doable.

Meanwhile, Clarisse La Rue has comandeered a ship herself - thanks to Ares - and has even managed to inspire its undead crew with a little hope of victory. That earned respect has resulted in her staying on the heels of Percy, Annabeth, and Titus as she too now attempts to find the Golden Fleece for Camp Half-Blood to save its magic wall. Can it be done? And what will happen when she crosses paths with the demigods who were expelled from camp?

Well, her name is in the title of the episode and, um, it probably doesn't mean good things for anyone who gets in her way.
