What to expect in Percy Jackson season 2 episode 5
We are officially halfway through Percy Jackson's second season. It's almost fitting that the halfway point brought the long-awaited sail across the Sea of Monsters. It hasn't ended well for Percy, Annabeth, Titus, Clarisse, or any of the crew onboard the latter's ship - which was torn apart by the whirlpool in the episode's closing moments. But that ship's trip upwards might bring them all to a new resort... one that might not be as friendly as it seems.
As the trailer for the fifth episode of season 2 showcases, Percy and Annabeth find themselves at a very fancy resort sanctuary. However, the pair must confront their own flaws. While it's unclear what that means right now, it does suggest that the two longtime friends - friends who have been having a little bit of difficulty in reconnecting this time around - might have to be completely honest with each other. And perhaps even themselves.
This episode will also see the introduction of the Sirens, who were previously mentioned in the build-up to the sail across the Sea of Monsters. Will the resort spa be a cover for the Sirens' true motivations, or do they simply show up when Percy and Annabeth are confronting their flaws? We'll have to wait and see, but one thing is for sure: We can't wait to see it all come together.
