Marvel fans are all focused on the two upcoming Avengers movies, and for good reason. To use a term that they are more than familiar with, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars is the "endgame" of the Multiverse Saga, and it will bring about the end of that chapter while launching the next one.

There has been a lot to love about the Multiverse Saga, which has been the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most ambitious storyline yet, specifically the arrival of the Disney Plus shows as they allow the franchise to tell a more expanded story focusing on younger, newer, and underrated MCU heroes.

That said, there were some missed opportunities throughout, as the MCU has drawn more criticism and even encountered a few underperformers for the first time. And it has forced Marvel Studios to take some steps to ensure that it reclaims its knack for constant success and acclaim, resulting in a new approach and some rumored cancellations, too.

One title that fans worried about was Disney Plus show Ms. Marvel but reports have since indicated that a second season could be on the cards. Now, there might be some truth to that (even if there is a bit of a wait for it).

Ms. Marvel season 2 could happen, but it would likely be after Avengers: Secret Wars

Marvel insider Alex Perez recently took part in their monthly Q&A with fans via The Cosmic Circus, and they revealed some interesting tidbits about the rumored second season of Ms. Marvel. The scooper reveals in the new report that Ms. Marvel season 2 is possible, saying that "it may happen down the line, but not until after the Multiverse Saga ends".

This is important for multiple reasons. For starters, it suggests that the show still might return for a second season. It was one of the MCU Disney Plus series that fans worried about after they heard of the rumored cancellations, but this appears to suggest that another season is still potentially on the cards.

Marvel has reportedly been looking back at some of its Disney Plus miniseries in a bid to see if any of them could be brought back for another season. It's part of the studio's new approach to focus on producing multiseason TV shows instead of standalone miniseries. While multiple reports have stated that both Hawkeye and Moon Knight have been renewed for second seasons, it's been a little less clear with Ms. Marvel.

According to reports, Marvel is currently considering bringing back Ms. Marvel for a second season, partially due to how invested they are in the Kamala Khan character. And they should be; remember, the first season of Ms. Marvel was critically-acclaimed, scoring the highest Rotten Tomatoes score of any of the MCU Disney Plus shows at the time of its release. When it did arrive on the platform, Kamala quickly became a fan-favorite character.

Even though the character was part of the underperforming The Marvels, she still made a name for herself on the Disney Plus streaming service, earning herself a devoted fanbase ready to champion her for another adventure. And given that the first season seemed to perform well and Marvel remains committed to the character, it would make sense to give the show another chance.

Another thing that is important to remember is how Ms. Marvel's first season featured the MCU's first reference to the X-Men when it suggested that Kamala Khan is a mutant. With Kevin Feige confirming that we're heading into the Mutants Era in the MCU, which will likely take form after Avengers: Secret Wars, another season of Ms. Marvel could be pivotal to the overarching story. So the case for a renewal is definitely there.
