The witches have taken over the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Agatha All Along has been entertaining fans of the franchise throughout spooky season, with Kathryn Hahn's infamously antagonistic witch seeking to reclaim the power that was once hers. But she hasn't been alone, as she and the mysterious Teen have put together a coven to walk the Witches' Road. It's a treacherous walk that very well could take the coven's lives, but if they make it to the end, they can get the one thing they desire the most.

The Disney Plus series is a spinoff of original MCU show WandaVision (which also starred Hahn as Agatha / Agnes) and it looks to further the overall story of the Multiverse Saga. Fans are convinced that Teen's identity will help it do just that. Something else that fans have helped the show do is enjoy an immense amount of success. And it looks like that success might have paid off.

A second season of Agatha All Along may be unlikely as it's a limited series but it sounds like the story will continue in a completely new chapter.

Agatha All Along follow-up series reportedly in the works

According to a new report from trusted Marvel insider Daniel Richtman, a sequel series to Agatha All Along is in development. The scooper posted that he has "100% confirmed that they are making a followup to Agatha about finding Tommy", potentially confirming a major fan theory about the identity of Teen on the series.

Tommy Maximoff is the Scarlet Witch's son. Also known as Speed or Tommy Shepard, we met a younger version of Tommy in both WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The character is the twin brother of Billy Maximoff, a.k.a. Wiccan, a.k.a. Billy Kaplan, who fans are convinced is actually the true identity of Joe Locke's mysterious character in Agatha All Along.

There is already another WandaVision spinoff in development. Paul Bettany is set to reprise his MCU role as Vision in Vision Quest, a series that focuses on the android's life as the White Vision ever since his resurrection at the hands of S.W.O.R.D. It was reported that this would serve as part of a three-part story, carrying on from WandaVision, and Agatha All Along in seemingly reuniting the Scarlet Witch's family. Tommy was rumored to appear in that one, so it will be interesting to see if that is the case or if this new rumored series will bring the character in instead.

Recent episodes of Agatha All Along have shown Agatha Harkness growing quite fond of Teen, with even the potential expectation that he might really be her son, Nicholas Scratch. But, again, the theory is that he's actually one of Wanda Maximoff's twin sons, which is no doubt set to make for an interesting dynamic whenever Agatha discovers that he might be the son of her former archenemy - the woman who imprisoned her in Westview. There have even been rumors of a potential Elizabeth Olsen cameo as Wanda, so could it happen?

WandaVision was the first project in the MCU's Multiverse Saga, leading directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Fans weren't thrilled with the way that the latter handled Wanda's arc after the complex storytelling in WandaVision but it does feel like it was all setting the stage for a much longer-running arc that we are now finally revisiting.

Agatha All Along has proven to be extremely popular with audiences. The premiere was watched by 9.3 million viewers in its first week of release, while it was subsequently revealed that the series amassed a total of 304 million minutes watch-time as well. Furthermore, Marvel Studios' Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation Brad Winderbaum has revealed that the show has the best continuation rate of any of the Marvel shows (meaning that fans and viewers continue watching after the premiere).

If this new sequel series pans out, it won't be a surprise given the response to both WandaVision and Agatha All Along. Let's just hope that means more of Agatha Harkness, Teen and their unique coven, too.
