What to expect from Spider-Man: Brand New Day

It's no secret that Spider-Man: Brand New Day is shaping up to be one of the biggest movies of the year. Not only is it a Marvel movie, it's a Spider-Man movie, and it's the first time we've seen Tom Holland's webslinger since 2021's record-shattering Spider-Man: No Way Home. That film currently sits at $1.9 billion, so you can bet expectations are high for this one.

Early box office tracking is expecting a total of around $1.5 billion for this one, so it's clear that the crowds will be coming out for Spidey - in spite of the apparent superhero and Marvel fatigue that continues to generate discussion in Hollywood.

Fan response to the first trailer was overwhelmingly positive, while the recent leaks regarding the second have only increased the hype. The film features Stranger Things star Sadie Sink in a mystery role (which may or may not have been spoiled) as the wall-crawler himself begins experiencing a metamorphosis of sorts that will see his body undergo changes.

Spider-Mna: Brand New Day will also feature more of a streetwise approach to the Peter Parker's story, marking a long overdue first for the MCU. To say that audiences are excited to see him team with The Punisher and the Hulk, as well as reunite with MJ, would be an understatement. Yeah, get your tickets early, because this is going to be a big one!
